Borussia Dortmund came from behind to beat Lille and reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League. The French hosts took a fifth-minute lead when Jonathan David swept a first-time finish through the legs of the unfortunate Gregor Kobel.

Borussia Dortmund coach Niko Kovac was delighted with his team's 2-1 comeback victory at Lille in the Champions League on Wednesday but predicted they would need to lift their game further to see off Barcelona in the quarter-finals.

In domestic play, Lille currently sits in fifth place in France's Ligue 1 while Dortmund needs to figure some things out over in the German Bundesliga as the team is currently in 10th place with 35 points but just four points back of sixth, the last spot that qualifies for UEFA play next year.
