UCLA’s Trent Middleton announced his commitment to the Wolverines on Thursday in a social media post. “Beyond blessed to say I have committed to the University of Michigan,” he wrote accompanied by a graphic of him in a Wolverines uniform.

Michigan football has had a ton of success traversing the transfer portal this cycle, but it perhaps doesn't feel like it to fans of the maize and blue, given that they've struck out on some of their top targets.

Michigan is bound to bring in another wide receiver from the transfer portal before it's all said and done. After landing Indiana playmaker Donaven McCulley, the Wolverines haven't had the same luck in landing another receiver.
