It is beginning to feel like college football's hierarchy has it in for Bevo. On Monday, it was announced the legendary Texas Longhorns mascot will not be allowed to attend the Peach Bowl between Arizona State and the Longhorns.

The Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl confirmed on Monday night that Bevo the Longhorn won’t be allowed at the game on New Year’s Day.

Texas will be without beloved mascot Bevo for the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl. Bevo the bull is a constant on the sidelines for the Longhorns but has been banned for the CFP quarterfinal. Bevo XV won't be joining the team for the clash with Arizona State at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the next round of the College Football Playoff after Texas booked their spot with a dominant 38-24 victory over Clemson last Saturday.

Bevo will yet again not be on the sidelines while the Texas Longhorns play at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Georgia. The Longhorns are set to take on Arizona State on Jan. 1 in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
