The chief of security for South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol said on Sunday he could not cooperate with efforts to arrest the impeached leader, in remarks that could push the political crisis towards another high-stakes confrontation.

Following the failed attempt by South Korean authorities to detain suspended president Yoon Suk Yeol, he has announced legal steps against those involved, the Yonhap news agency reported on Sunday. Yonhap cited Yoon's lawyer as saying he plans to file a complaint on Monday against some 150 law enforcement officials,
